Trust and Safety

Our commitment to your family
Allowing someone to support your child's daily routine is a significant decision. We understand that completely, and we take that responsibility seriously. KinRoute is designed to give you practical support and complete peace of mind.

Licensed and carefully vetted
Every journey will be made by a TfL-licensed driver in a licensed vehicle. Before their first journey, every driver will complete:

An enhanced DBS check (verified and current)

Two professional references (independently verified)

Identity and right-to-work checks

Safeguarding awareness training

Wherever possible, we'll match your family with the same driver each time, so your child builds familiarity and trust over time.

Accompanied walks
For shorter, local journeys, an accompanied walk is also available. The same care applies to everyone who accompanies your child.

A fully managed service
We coordinate the journeys, confirm your driver and oversee schedules to ensure consistency and reliability. You are never left to manage arrangements on your own.

Safe and thoughtful journeys
Every journey is planned in advance and with care. We make sure routes are appropriate and timings are managed, so your child's travel is calm, safe and well organised.

Clear communication
We'll keep you informed when your child has been collected and when they have arrived. Communication is simple, consistent and designed to reassure.

Privacy and discretion
We respect the privacy of every family we work with. All information is handled with discretion, and our drivers maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times. KinRoute Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Safeguarding
Our founder and director is our designated safeguarding lead, responsible for our safeguarding standards and for responding to any concern about a child's safety or welfare.

Our promise
Every decision we make, from recruitment to daily coordination, is guided by one principle: your child's safety, wellbeing and comfort come first.

Feedback and complaints

Our approach
We take every concern seriously. If something has not met your expectations, we want to know and we want to put it right.

How to raise a concern
Email hello@kinroute.com. Please include as much detail as you can: what happened, when, and the name of the driver if relevant.

What happens next

We'll acknowledge your complaint promptly, usually within one working day, and let you know who is handling it.

We'll investigate carefully and aim to send you a full written response within 10 working days. If it takes longer, we'll tell you why and keep you updated.

If there's an immediate safety concern, we'll act straight away.

If you're not satisfied
You can ask for your complaint to be reviewed by a director of KinRoute. We'll aim to send a final response within 10 working days.

Safeguarding concerns
If your concern relates to the safety or welfare of a child, please contact our designated safeguarding lead immediately at hello@kinroute.com. These concerns are treated as a priority, are separate from the general complaints process, and are escalated to the relevant authorities where necessary.
